When it comes to designing and equipping balconies or terraces, a lot of people immediately turn their thoughts to paving and floor surfaces, furniture, and attractive planting. However, there’s another aspect that first has to be considered in order to maintain the area’s functionality: reliable dewatering. Due to their exposed position, balconies and terraces are very much open to the elements, i.e. precipitation. This has to be collected and safely directed away within the affected area, along balustrades and at the façade. Only by doing this will the structural fabric be protected from potential damage, leaving you to focus on the rest of your outdoor design.
Our standard range of products includes a variety of drainage and dewatering channels, from subtle slotted channels for minimalist yet efficient dewatering to façade channels with larger inlet widths, right over to special solutions such as particularly flat models for Bangkirai terraces. For every channel that we manufacture in line with custom dimensions and requirements, you can choose from a broad selection of suitable gratings that leave nothing to be desired in terms of design.
