Customised online service

DACH+HOLZ 2020 gives a foretaste of new products and services from Richard Brink

At the DACH+HOLZ International 2020 trade fair, the booth run by Richard Brink GmbH & Co. KG featured future online offers from the metal products manufacturer in addition to showcasing the tried-and-tested products in its range. The new services offer customers, installers and architects alike even more planning certainty and transparency.

The trade fair for timber construction, works, roof and wall drew over 52,000 visitors from 83 countries this year. One of the 607 exhibitors was Richard Brink, showcasing its extensive product range of roof and wall systems as well as drainage and dewatering solutions for roofs, balconies and façades at its 100 square metre booth area.

Transparency at a click

In personal interactions with trade visitors, the newly announced online services of the metal products manufacturer drew a lot of interest in particular. ‘DACH+HOLZ was the right place to show planners and architects a peek at our configurator for edge profiles, which will soon be available. In addition to advertising the new service, the trade fair also gave us the opportunity to hear visitors’ requests and suggestions and incorporate these into the service before it is launched,’ explains Managing Director Stefan Brink.

The configurator, which will be integrated in an online shop that is also new, will help customers draft out parapet coverings and edge profile lines. Thanks to the specially developed software, users get a quick but detailed overview of the total quantity of material and costs incurred. The system also automatically delivers individually compiled setup and cutting plans when the order is confirmed. Tender specifications can also be created and added in the online shop. With these new features, Richard Brink is expanding its online service offering significantly and providing maximum transparency during the planning and order phase. ‘The feedback we received during the trade fair showed that we have struck a chord with visitors when it comes to the configurator and its features, and we will be able to offer our customer real added value,’ Stefan Brink concludes.
