Energy generation and privacy screen in one: our solar fence panels 

As awareness of the energy transition increases, so does the use of solar installations on a smaller scale – in the form of balcony power plants, for example. With our solar fence panels, we provide you with an alternative way of harnessing solar energy. This special type of privacy screen combines the fence’s conventional use with the option to generate energy sustainably. Whether used along private garden and property lines or in public park areas, the fence panels open up a wide range of options for sustainable energy generation while simultaneously shaping outdoor spaces. 

We provide you with a complete package ready for installation, structured around matt-blasted stainless-steel fence posts. The post feet take the form of flange plates that can be screwed into a concrete foundation. Alternatively, the screw plates can also be set directly in the foundation. When preparing a 400 x 400mm point foundation, we recommend a depth of at least 600mm or a level that corresponds with the local frost line. 

Special clamp mounts located along the posts hold the supplied 450-watt solar modules in a way that prevents damage to their surface and allows them to be fitted either vertically or horizontally. Compatible microinverters and cables are also supplied. The latter are fed through the fence posts and can optionally sit behind rear panel covers, also made from high-quality stainless steel, which render the cables practically invisible. Ventilation slots integrated into the covers prevent the accumulation of heat.  

We can also provide custom-made stainless-steel panels to be used in place of the solar modules, which are fixed between the fence posts. These can be used either to achieve a specific fence length at the installation site, or to create variance in the appearance of the fence. The panels’ light-coloured surface creates an appealing contrast to the dark panels.  

Up to two modules can be series-connected to create a plug-and-play solar installation equivalent to a balcony power plant. If several modules are to be series-connected, we recommend hiring a trained professional.

PLEASE NOTE: our solar fence panels are not suited for use as fall protection (e.g. as a balustrade)!
