Richard Brink has developed industrial and kitchen channels as the largest variant of indoor drainage systems. These new products drain away large amounts of water from communal showers at swimming pools, commercial kitchens and industrial areas. The channels are made of stainless steel and can be ordered as standard with gratings in three different designs. Floor drains with bell plungers and vertical outflows that suit the industrial and kitchen channels are available. Richard Brink offers all channels as custom-made solutions according to customer specifications.

Industrial and kitchen channels are used both for continuously high drainage and for sporadic removal of water. They are available in two variants: the first version has an inlet width of 250mm and is made of 1.5mm thick stainless steel, while the second model has an inlet width of 500mm and is also made of 1.5mm thick stainless steel. The products are 370 and 620mm wide respectively, when the flange is taken into account. The floor drain for the industrial and kitchen channels is made of 2.0mm thick stainless steel and comes with a bell plunger and vertical outflow.

Depending on their intended purpose, the channels can be combined with one of three industrial and kitchen gratings. The 7 × 7mm Hydra Linearis longitudinal bar gratings are pleasant underfoot at swimming pools. With a bar width of 7mm, they can be walked across barefoot without worries. Stainless steel mesh gratings are also available in the standard version or as a non-slip variant. The latter has a serrated tread surface that provides safety underfoot in commercial kitchens and industrial facilities where waste water may contain lubricants and grease.

Shower channels in special sizes

The Elix shower channel is also suitable for use in large-scale sanitary facilities. The new product is available with different upstands and wall connections. The stainless steel channels can be selected with matching gratings as needed. Richard Brink manufactures each one in the desired dimensions to fit the tile grid in question.

Floor drains with bell plungers and matching gratings in various finishes are available for the channels.

Fitted with the longitudinal bar grating Hydra Linearis, for example, the industrial and kitchen channels feel good underfoot.

The slip-resistant mesh gratings are fitted with zig-zag tread surfaces and help prevent slipping in commercial kitchens and facilities where waste water may contain lubricants and grease.

The Elix shower channel is also suitable for use in large-scale sanitary facilities. Like all of our industrial and kitchen channels, it can be manufactured in line with individual customer requirements.
